Sampology feat. Spoek Mathambo & Gnucci Banana – Piggy Bank

Woah, I wish I had a piggy bank to crack open.
Australian producer, DJ (and VJ) Sampology teamed up with Global Bass dream couple Spoek & Gnucci for this thumping and pumping release on the always great Top Billin label.
This is the first single for an entire EP that will be out in April (featuring f.e. Lady Chann), and I can tell you, it’s a highly infectious one. The accompanying remixes cover the whole spectrum of mad and crazy takes on Clubmusic which never denies it’s strong Dancehall influence. I totally go for the remix by One Nile, a dark and murky version with no vocals at all, while the other remixers move more into a fidgety and somehow Soca-esque direction (with exception of Two Fresh, who totally cut up the whole thing to burn the dancefloor with delay and synth – nice!).
