6 – Sonido Quality – DJ Quality
When I turned deep into Cumbia some times ago Bersa Discos was a great inspiration for me and here comes Release #8. Hailing from Chicago, the 25-year-old Mexican producer Sonido Quality was once firmly rooted in straight rap, but he began combining the Latin rhythms of his youth with modern club sounds. Now his efforts have culminated in Bersa Discos release #8, a six-track outing that finds him weaving together bits of cumbia, bachata, Southern hip hop, R&B, Baltimore club and more. The result is a potent mix of hard-hitting beats and club-ready latin jams.

Dany F from Medellin, Colombia is well known for his deep Cumbia Style wich brings House and Cumbia together. He comes out with a full length Album “Travesia” wich you could load free via his Bandcamp. But if you love his work and you want to support the Artist spent him some Duros so he could buy some dope and beer or coffee and dulces.
9 – Samba – Artist Unknown
And here he comes the unbelivable “Artist Unknown” of this Episode. I found this cool remix on my harddrive and as there are no tags to find I have no information for you. But its really a cool one. [UPDATE] This is a work by Pita Dobleu! from San Luis Potosi.[UPDATE]
10 – La Revancha – La Dame en blanche
You may have heard of La Dame Blanche, she’s the female voice on many Sergent García recordings. Previously known by her birth name, Yaite Ramos is of Afro-Cuban royal lineage (her father is trombonist and maestro director at Buena Vista Social Club) and she frequently collaborates in the sound system performances of Argentine ñu-cumbia pioneer El Hijo De La Cumbia. Her she comes with a new EP featuring an explosive dance-floor-oriented cumbia produced by El Hijo and a few laid-back hip-hop-fusion tracks that fans of La Mala Rodríguez and Orishas will certainly love.
