The first single for Toddla T’s forthcoming “Watch Me Dance” album takes you on a breezy ride back in the 90s. A collaboration with Shola Ama and J2K this one got a Soul II Soul-esque mood so reminiscent of the oldschool that you want to take jazz dance classes again, like in primary school (cough).
Remixes of “Take It Back” will come from The 2 Bears, Dillon Francis, D1, Des Demure and DJ Q, the full single is due to release on May 23 on Ninjatunes.
As an appetizer here we go with the chopped and slowed down Moombah edit by Dillon Francis. I’m not a big fan of Dillon’s work but I can feel this.
