Matt Shadetek – Dutty House EP

That’s House how I like it – Dutty Artz don Matt Shadetek’s new “Dutty House” EP comes right for the actually freezing cold and snowy Berlin weather over here, as it brings back the Eski in the House. Take a bit of Funky, add some Sino-tasting Grime basslines, stir in some Soca or a 2Step riddim – remember what you get? Eski House! Finish everything with a pinch of the custom Dutty Artz flavour and there you go.

The 4-track release covers the whole spectrum: “Wonton Garden” features a soca-styled percussion hinting at Slackk’s Eski-House sound, while the pitched gregorian chants and Far-Eastern tuning of “Coco13” taking you to a totally different location. “Blast Area” fuses late ’80s horror synths with bumpah-bumpin’ reggaeton syncopation, and “Singularity” gives you the raw, old-skool Grime flavour.
You can cop “Dutty House” at all major sound providers.
