Under the name of Manduka Franco-Chilean artist Hector Pizarro explores his Latino-American roots, mixing them with his European culture. During his numerous trips to Argentina and Chile, he rediscovered the music he had listened to so many times as a little boy, with his family or on party nights: Cumbia. In his « cumbian » productions and re-edits, Manduka mixes dub, electronic beat and samples from other musical universes, bringing an undeniable originality to his vision of Cumbia. Here he comes with a chilled 4 Track EP called Burdeos San Juan, 2 Songs featuring the Vocals of Monsieur Cake. Unfortunately I don´t know where this beauty is available only found streaming links.
