Normally, we introduce you to music that is more or less ahead of its time, but in this case I’ll make an excuse. Lord Mouse and the Kalypso Katz is a Berlin based big band consisting of seventeen musicans from seven different nations. The band plays sweet classic calypso as their name implies already. Actually I feel like being thrown back in time for at least 50 years, when this awesome sound could be considered as tropical bass. “Go Calypsonian” is their second full length album and features twelve timeless tunes that your parents and grandparents will most likely enjoy as much as you will. This is a modern classic!
