Sergent Garcia is back with this hot new video filmed in Cali, Colombia. “Calentura Mi Son” is a new version of “Mi Son Mi Friend” which appeared on Sergent Garcia’s latest album Una y Otra Vez on Cumbancha. The original version featured Li Saumet of Bomba Estereo and this new mix pumps it up a notch with the support of Cali’s Zalama Crew.
The music and culture of Colombia has been one of Sergent Garcia’s biggest influences lately, and he’s been spending a lot of time there collaborating with numerous figures in the country’s scorching hot music scene.
The video developed out of an artistic residency by Sergent Garcia in Cali, a city near the Pacific Coast which proudly calls itself “The Capital of Salsa.”
The video was produced with the support of the French Embassy in Colombia, The Colombian-French Alliance of Cali, Industrias Culturales de Cali, The Comfandi Cultural Center and Cecom Música.
