This album is super awesome! DRC Music is an association of 11 producers from the UK, consisting of Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Dan The Automator, Jneiro Jarel, Richard Russell, Actress, Marc Antoine, Alwest, Remi Kabaka, Rodaidh McDonald and Kwes.
In July this year they’ve spend 5 days in Kinshasa to record this wicked album with more than 50 contemporary musicians from the Democratic Republic of Congo, like Jupiter and the Okwess International, Bokatola System and Nelly Liyemge! The result, a 14 track strong album, was released digitally on Warp Records, October 3th!
