We are embarrassingly late on this one: “Vart jag mig i världen vänder” (roughly translated to “Wherever I turn in the world”) is a perfect pop joint with a strong Tropical-inspired touch, quite comparable to the approach of the likes as Vampire Weekend and The Very Best. It also charted number one in Sweden, knocking Don Omar & Lucenzo’s “Danza Kudoro” off the throne. I stumbled upon this brilliant pearl by discovering the sweetly pushing remix above-mentioned The Very Best did, just to learn that there are is a whole bunch of awesome remix work (check the one’s by Moroka, long-time Secousse collaborator, and by Frej Larsson of Maskinen). The video is off the hook too, just saying.
