Fresh new video for Brenmar’s “Taking it Down”, already out on Discobelle Records for a while now.
The bubbling House production is made for turning barber shops upside down – working a sample from “Clubbin” (Marques Houston’s quite cheesy solo debut from 2003) into a tight and pretty Funky-inspired beat structure. The video was filmed in the Brooklyn-based producer’s favorite neighborhood barbershop, Quickcuts – maybe he always get’s his haircut like that?
Also worth checking out: director Pamela Dietze’s website, who is apparently doing a lot of cool stuff (like film, photography, jewelry design and art direction).
