Today i’ve found this mozambique music genre called “pandza” i never heard of. It’s a combination of Dancehall and HipHop but for me it feels like the mozambique version of namibian kwaito. This is very heavy stuff, i like very much.
I don’t know anything about Mega Jota, but DJ Ardiles is one of the biggest stars in Mozambique. Maybe you could compare him and his style with Gazza from Namibia.
After i’ve finished my latest mix, i will start to blend some pandza tunes together ;)
