News from the Man Recordings headquarter: Due to drop tomorrow (April 5th) is the remix version of Daniel Haaksman’s debut album “Rambazamba”, aptly titled “More Rambazamba”.
The excellent reworking by staple names as Big Dope P, Neki Stranac, Schlachthofbronx, Boogaloo, French Fries, So Shifty, or Chrissy Murderbot takes all that genre-bending a step further and, as Wayne Marshal from Wayne & Wax puts it, “in the process creating even more space for winding waists — and tastes”.
Some of the original track have become quite anthemic since the first release one year ago (think of “Hands Up”, “Bomba” or “Rap da Silva”), but now appear to be shiny, fresh and new and ready for 2012. Favourites from the promo so far are the jukified “Rap da Silva” by Big Dope P, the really up and coming Boogaloo remixing Haaksman covering the classic “Din Daa Daa” and Cry Wolf giving “Carnival” a strong UK Bass click-clack touch. Also a sure shot: Hamburgers So Shifty adding a heavy dose of bubbling Bounce to “Bomba” feat. vocalist Roxxxy Bione. To celebrate in style Man Recordings is giving away the track for free, so don’t sleep on this!
