BBrave (Akwaaba Music) Europe Tour

Akwaaba Music’s founder and head honcho Benjamin Lebrave aka BBrave, a nice french guy now based in LA, just touched the grounds of good old Europe again to delight you with a shaking DJ-Set in a club near you!

Akwaaba sees itself as a platform for African pop culture – the label pushes locally established but (still) globally isolated music from the African continent. Genre boundaries are not important – there roster ranges from traditional, even acoustic, sounds to contemporary club bangers. Also check out their remix contests which always lead to exciting collaborations and reworks.
Other aspects of the Akwaaba philosophy are fair and simple deals for the artists, and a real deep interest in the people the label is working with – Benjamin documents his journeys on the Akwaaba blog and tells the stories behind his encounters.

And I can tell you from personal experience a BBrave DJ-set will seriously shake your booty, so everyone come out and party! The tour starts tonight in Berlin with a party presented by Tropicalbass alongside Dala Dala Soundz, DJ Zhao and our own Marflix.
