Joyce Muniz – Party over here, party over there (Shir Khan Remix)
Joyce Muniz is kickin it with her new single, “Party over here, party over there”, out on Exploited Records November 12th. Remixes come from Shir Khan, Homework, Pol-On and J. Phlip. A surprisingly straight bassline with lots of klicks and krrcks and ultra-bored vocals- sounds berlin-ish for my ears, but in a good way. The video got me thinking of Czech fairy-tale movies, which is brilliant. Continue Reading

This video might irritate you – yes, it’s full of LOLcats…
Matt Shadetek choose a quite interesting way to promote “Funny Cats”, a tune from his solo instrumental album “Flowers”, released in June. He stated on the Dutty Artz blog that he simply likes those funny little furballs – and on top of that, wants to do a little experiment in viral PR. As LOLcats are getting those huge amounts of clicks the result could be that Matt Shadetek will gain more Twitter followers than Kanye and Lady Gaga together within the next months. We will keep you updated…
Buy “Flowers” on Boomkat, iTunes or Juno, the selection of uptempo, dancefloor-ready productions exploring the intersections of UK Garage, Bassline and Funky with a touch of Tropical it’s definitely worth it.

At the moment the multi talented Dexplicit is one of my favourit producers from the UK. You can’t limit his style to just one genre, Dexplicit does everything the British people love, from Garage to Grime and from Dubstep to UK Funky.
I like to share some of his latest Tunes with you (stream only). The first two are Grime/Dancehall/Dubstep – Crossover Tunes featuring Shizzle, a MC i really like but didn’t hear anything new since 2007. I’m glad he’s back! One of these Tunes features the awesome Lady Stush as well!
The third Tune is his official remix of Natalie Storm’s “Look Pon Me” which is on the Jumeirah 12″ by Sticky.
And the last one is his latest Tune, a rnb song featuring Grime MC Black The Ripper amongst others on a Bassline House Beat. Yes, Bassline is not dead, yet!
Also watch out for his upcoming Bassline Production with Grime singer Lauren Mason “Foolish”. Mad Tune!

On the occasion of the release of ‘Wile Out’ by Zinc & Ms Dynamite 2 days ago I feel the urgent need to give props to the track ‘on the B-Side’. ‘My DJ’ produzed by Zinc and Benga with vocals by Ms Dynamite is banging really hard, and the first DJ in Berlin playing it (while I attend the party of course) will be ‘My DJ’ ;)
And here is the official video for ‘Wile Out’ for those that missed it so far:
