Earlier this year, Urban World Records started a Remix Competition of their popular dub tune “More Love, Less Corruption” by LoveAvalanche and MC BenJammin. In the meantine, the winners were announced. Congratulations to Bigote, who won a Release on the forthcoming Global Bass Vol. 3 Vinyl!

Seven additional Remixes (including the one from our author Andres Digital) were chosen to be released on the official More Love, Less Corruption Remixes EP. From today, this EP is available on their bandcamp page and you can decided what to pay for it. Also nothing is fine.

This week Chanel has shown it’s Cruise Collection for 2012/13 in the beautiful garden of Versailles, and the soundtrack accompanying the Marie Antoinette/80s/Pastel/5th Element-Madness on the runway was made up by well known names in the global Bassmusic circus. Michel Gaubert, responsible for the sound design of each Chanel show as well as couple of other big names and mastermind behind the well-known Colette compilations, seems to have a heavy crush on the new Schlachthofbronx album “Dirty Dancing”. Three tracks alone can be heard in the video for the show (Singstar feat. the one and only Gnucci Banana, Apizaco and That G-String Track; further Crooker’s That Laughing Track), opening and closing the walk. I also found a different tracklisting which might be the original for the live show, also featuring M.I.A with Bad Girls and a Moombahton Remix of MJs Thriller by Sabo. Crazy!

This new video feats Funkero, who is one of the newest sensations in underground Brazil.. and to balance it.. Iconic BNegao.. whose resume include a long list of featuring. although mostly known for his Planet Hemp and Turbo Trio days.

I am a super fan of Brazilian Music.. in fact I personally can’t think about Latin Music without referring to Samba, Pagoda, batucada, Berimbau and more tropical stuff from our beloved Brazil!!!
