The legendary group Son Palenque was founded in 1980 by Justo Valdez. They have recorded 15 albums, and this is number 16th, with 12 new songs that reflect the strong musical tradition of San Basilio de Palenque. In this recordings you will hear rhythms that range from Champeta to Bullerengue, Chalupa to Lumbabu.
