Posted On By Caballo

Off the back of Jumping Back Slash’s 12″ earlier in the summer POLLINATE finally managed to dig out the long lost remixes of A-side, Kwaai Sneakers. Nearly destined for muso heaven, remixes by Erick Rincon, Silky Boys and Hanuman & Fire
JUMPING BACK SLASH – Kwaai Sneakers Remixed by Pollinate

It’s a solid package that kicks off with Erick Rincon’s powerful Tribal Guarachero remix. He’s fast becoming one of the biggest DJs/producers in Mexico with his tunes defining a new sound that’s putting his country back on the musical map. This remix is deep and tough in all the right places, warping JBS’s original into a spaced out Tribal classic. Second in line is the first ever production by duo, Silky Boys and it’s a heavy version with the original’s vocals chanting their way across a bed of sub bass and chunky, marching beats. A collaboration between Steak House Records boss, Hanuman and Pollinate boss, Fire Eyes wraps up this release. A wild reinterpretation that drops an almighty melody over booming carnival rhythms. Altogether they make a massive package that takes Jumping Back Slash’s unique sound to new and exciting places.
