Subatomic Sound (NYC) teams up with The Rebel Records (Colombia & Canada) bringing together top Latino Cumbia producers to form an all-star supergroup, Sancocho e’ Tigres, for a unique project that redefines how music is created and sold, first by composing loops and then composing different songs from each other’s loops. These same producers were behind the first ever cumbia loop package, Cumbia Bass Beats, 100+ free loops that they gave away free on countless blogs this year.
In order to push cumbia even further, Javier Estrada, The Binary Cumbia Orchestra, Daniel Klauser, The Pobretons, Bleepolar, den5hion, Caballo and the amazing Gux Swadharma are the first stage of sancocho e tigres.

Sancocho e’ Tigres also brings 3 Original songs Guarapero Soy in which for the first time in digital cumbia atonal bridges get blended with vallenato and dubstep bassline, although maintaining traditional cumbia’s rhythmic pattern.
Lujo de Pobre, (poor’s luxury) is a showcase of digital cumbia in its organic version, and a reference of how small things in life like having a passport, or getting a Facebook account are a “luxury” for poor people.
The vocal version was made by Caballo.
Zena y Da is the third original tune, referencing Armando Hernandez’s cumbia classic, but in this version Sancocho e’ Tigres blends Brazilian Pandancao, with Vallenato and breakbeats.
