Pocz & Pacheko – Tuki Love

The 5th installment of Enchufada’s “Hard Ass Sessions” series is about to drop in April, and as always you can expect a healthy dose of dirty roaring Kuduro for your dancing pleasure. Beside Kingdom, Poirier and Bert on Beats the release also features Pocz & Pacheko‘s “Tuki Love”.

These guys are from Venezuela, where the equivalent to Kuduro is called “Tuki”. The fresh and fun video is made up of footage from this local Ghetto Bass scene, as “Tuki Love” is kind of an amalgam of Tuki and Kuduro. No wonder: Pocz and Pacheko have already released on labels like Senseless Recordings (UK), Tigerbeat6 (US) and Enchufada (PT) and push a sound that is a mix of bass-heavy Kuduro, Reggaeton, Merengue, Dub and House—they call it Tropical Bass Music, but the tag “Caracas Bass” has also been used. They are also hosting a clubnight in Caracas called Abstractor along with a blog and a podcast series – something to check out!

Another thing worth checking out is the mix Pocz & Pacheko put together for Enchufada’s E-Radio #17 – the “Tukiduro Mixtape”:
